Shortly after it was founded, Point Conception took part in a project carried out by the NGO “AMPION” in southern Africa, and supported African entrepreneurs with the development of their start-up projects on site.

The project, which was supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Microsoft among others, was essentially about working with international teams of experts in a bus to develop solutions to various problems in the field of agriculture and to present these to an audience at various tech and innovation centres along the route from Windhoek (Namibia) via Gaborone (Botswana) to Cape Town (South Africa).
